the company is a leader in voice trading for the financial markets. the products are utilizing state of the art technology, the work is challenging and very rewarding

The voice trading business is under pressure due to new regulations that were imposed on the banks. the company is an LBO owned by a private equity.

    Advice to Management

due to the lack of investment in the business, it is important for the management team to take the lead and drive results. keeping the status quo is unacceptable. it will lead to a decline in business and ultimately to a business failure.

I applied online – interviewed at IPC Systems.

I applied online, and a couple of days later received an email requesting that I call in about the role (I thought that that was weird, but I went with it). Though we scheduled a time to speak, the contact didn't answer when I called. I decided to send a follow up email as well. The person responded to that email 1.5 hrs later, and ended up calling me at random, later in the day. Needless to say, I shouldn't have answered. The whole thing was a waste of my time.
