I have been working at ISE full-time for more than 5 years

ISE has a great work-life balance, they offer good benefits, they try to incorporate fun into the work life. If you're actually really really good at what you do, you will reap the benefits via promotions etc. They also have a good bonus program.

Unless you're super great at what you do, you do go unnoticed. There aren't many opportunities to develop into something else. If an employee wants more there's not always room to move up.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More emphasis should be taken into looking at all employees and how they can grow. There's always room for development and if someone has been with the company a long time and they're not moving up or contributing as much as they should, someone should speak up and change that. If a manager is not good at managing, someone should step in so that the employee has a chance to grow and develop further.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks - interviewed at ISE in May 2012.

    Interview Details

The interview process was very long--first there was a phone interview, then an in-person interview where I met with seven people individually and took an hour-long computer test. In total, the in-person interview took around three hours. The people I met with were nice and the interview questions were standard. It had a traditional, formal, corporate feel.

    Interview Questions
    • Given a surprisingly difficult computer test in Word, Excel, PPT. I use these programs often and feel very comfortable with them, but I wasn't able to finish the test in time and didn't know how to do some of the very specific formatting questions in the test.   Answer Question
    Reasons for Declining

I got a better offer around the same time.
