Informatica Involved Bangalore collected used clothes, materials, footwear and school materials for underprivileged children for GOONJ. The donations motivate villagers to repair roads, dig wells, build bridges, and clean their villages. GOONJ is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that collects used clothes and materials to distribute to rural areas in India. From July 13 through July 21, 2015, Informatica Bangalore employees collected 16 cartons of clothes, toys, and footwear. We thank everyone that supported this worthy cause.

Informatica – Why Work For Us?

We Put Information Potential to Work.

We believe the information potential is endless—and data integration is more important than ever. We believe it is the bedrock of truth that enables organizations to ask and answer even more interesting questions, build even more useful tools and develop even deeper human relationships. We believe the mastery of data to be a fundamental value. And by empowering our customers to connect their data to anything—to connect their data to everything—we will show the world that we are more than just the data integration company. We are the people who help unleash information potential.

Our values are a set of behaviors, beliefs, and norms that exist throughout our company. They reflect our strategy, our brand, our management practices, and in behaviors adopted throughout the business, at every level, in every department, and in all geographies. While they have been refined over time, they are still the same principles upon which the company was founded.

Accountability and Integrity

We operate with integrity and build mutual trust. We are personally accountable for our actions and for the consequences of those actions. Having accountability and integrity as a value means that we are who we say we are and we do what we say we will do. We’re personally accountable for our actions; to ourselves, to our customers, and most of all, to each other. We do what’s right, even if it’s not always to our advantage. We do not make commitments we do not intend to keep, and when we do commit, we deliver.

Commitment to Innovation & Excellence

We encourage original thinking in all areas of our work. We set the highest standards and expectations for ourselves and strive to exceed them. This is not just about innovation, or technical excellence. The idea that we create things we’re passionate about—products, deployments, partnerships, this entire company—goes beyond any one single accomplishment. Having innovation and excellence as an Informatica value goes to the core of everything that we do. It is an expression of how we feel about what we do and who we are when we’re doing it.

Dedication to the Success of our Customers

Our customers’ success is our success. We are committed to delivering products and services that make our customers, both internal and external, 100% successful. We have one of, if not the, highest ratio of successful deployments in the industry. It’s not just because our products are so good (they are, but that’s not the only reason). It’s because we are dedicated to making our customers successful - how well we’re doing is only measured by how well they’re doing. Their success is inseparable from our own. Making customers successful is what we do best, why we’re here, and the engine of our growth.

Maximizing the power of our efforts through teamwork

We work co-operatively across departments and geographies to achieve the best possible results for our customers, employees and shareholders. We understand the company goals and align our own goals and actions accordingly. This is a team sport. In order for us to be successful we each have to make the effort to ensure Informatica is a culture of “one team” with the competition being outside our walls, not within. If every employee makes the conscious effort to do the right thing for their fellow teammate and do the right thing for the company, we’ll not only be successful, but we’ll enjoy the ride that much more.

Imagine a place where doing business isn’t just business as usual. Where you are recognized and appreciate by your peers for good work. A place where smart co-workers support you and your success is measured by our customer’s success.

I have been working at Informatica full-time (More than 5 years)

Informatica is a hidden gem in the Silicon Valley. The company has best in class technology. The management team is a good mix of company veterans and new talent. The employees that Informatica hires are hard working, dedicated and committed to doing the right thing for the company and its customers.

There is a lot of work to be done being a mid-size company. The business unit structure can be challenging to navigate, but is certainly possible.

    Advice to Management
