IDT is a global company that develops a broad range of low-power, high-performance mixed-signal semiconductor solutions that are used in today's advanced electronics, from mobile devices and wireless chargers to Big Data servers. In addition to our market-leading  timing products,  IDT offers semiconductors targeting communications infrastructure – both  wired and wireless – high-performance computing and  power management. These products are used for next-generation development in areas such as 4G infrastructure, network communications, cloud datacenters and power management for computing and mobile devices.
We primarily market our products to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) through a variety of global channels, including  direct sales, distributors, electronic manufacturing suppliers (EMSs) and independent sales representatives.
IDT was incorporated in California in 1980 and reincorporated in Delaware in 1987. Headquartered in  San Jose, California,  we have design, manufacturing and sales facilities throughout the world.  IDT stock is traded on the  NASDAQ Global Select Stock Market under the symbol “ IDTI.”

    I worked at Integrated Device Technology full-time (more than an year)


    Lot of opportunities to learn about new technologies through many Lunch and Learn sections (at least once a week) and annual Technology Conference.
    Nice and knowledgeable people to work with.
    Many activities for employees to mingles and know each other.
    HR is good and has real concern for employees.
    Reasonable expectation in working time (can achieve work life balance)
    Compensation and overall benefits are above average.

    All of the above is for the time I worked there (2010-2011)


    There were some uncertainty because of the company trying to transform itself. This created some angst on people mind.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at Integrated Device Technology in May 2014.

    Interview Details

    In the process of the interview. Had only the phone interview till now. The interview was on the phone for less than a hour. The interviewer was very professional and helpful. The intial questions were simple and straight forward from your resume. The next set of questions focused on the knowledge of logic design and hardware programming.
