This isn't at what I thought a call center was like. All day long all your doing is taking calls. Your not dialing out at all. It's not sales, your not setting appointments or anything like that. I figured it would be a lot different, so that's cool. The only time you have to call someone back is if the call your on gets disconnected. Also, it's so busy that there are a lot of chances for overtime.
The place is 24/7 so some of the shifts you might get aren't that great. But then again, after you been here a while you can ask to switch your shift. If there's room and it's your turn, you can switch your hours and your days off.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days – interviewed at Intelicare Direct (Las Vegas, NV) in July 2015.
Application process was easy. You can be professional and bring a resume, but you can come without one and still get hired. It is a good first job for someone right out of school, but if you are looking to grow professionally, this is not the place. The Las Vegas office (call center floor) is scruffy and not well kept. I found most of the reps to be well satisfied just staying there with little or no ambition to do anything else, most (not all) seemed not to have any form of higher education. Training is one week because the calls and software is easy to learn if you have worked in a call center before. Also they have mandatory overtime so if your shift is over and you need to leave, you get written up for not staying. It is in the handbook that you don't actually get to read until AFTER you sign off that you have received it. I am no longer with the company.
