I have been working at Intentional Software full-timePros
-Our software technology is exciting with lots of potential for the future.
-Very good insurance benefits and competitive time off.
-Great work/life balance.
-Work day-to-day with very, very smart people.
-Company is still small enough that the environment feels like a family.
-Brand new office building with top of the line finishes (moving in November).Cons
-A company full of software engineers can lend its own challenges - communication between teams could use improvement. The general culture can sometimes be skeptical and resistant to change.
-Direction of the company can sometimes be ambiguous, difficult to communicate to others.Advice to ManagementAdvice
When in doubt, communicate! So often management waits to communicate until they have SOMETHING to communicate, but a lot of times we prefer to hear anything (even if it's: "we're working on a solution") rather than nothing at all.RecommendsPositive OutlookNo opinion of CEO
Getting an Interview
Getting an Interview
- Application Details
I applied online – interviewed at Intentional Software.Interview Details
I applied online, got past the first behavioral phone call interview, and I received an email to schedule a technical phone interview the next Friday at 11h. Then on next Friday, I received a call from them at 10h, apparently there has been a mistake in scheduling the interview. The guy who called was nice, and said he had no problem calling back in an hour. So after an hour, I went in front of my computer and got ready for the interview, then I suddenly noticed they sent me an email a minute before 11h to cancel it, and their is excuse is absurd and incoherent, saying something like there is typo in my resume. This is the very first time I get this kind of experience, and I honestly cannot believe anything decent company can do that. Hope they will treat their candidate better next time.Interview Questions

- I guess calling an hour earlier than the interview time I was told is pretty unexpected Answer Question
