Current Employee - Branch Manager in Milan (Italy)

I have been working at Intesa Sanpaolo full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Company with strong fundamentals. Good salaries and benefits compared to other Italian companies. Safe and nice work place.

    Cons

It's hard to make steps forward with your career. You need to know and be a friend of a Manager hoping that he can help you. It's a company well-established in Italy and not in other countries so forget about international experiences.

    Application Details

I applied through other source. The process took 2 months - interviewed at Intesa Sanpaolo in August 2013.

    Interview Details

Called in to meet hiring manager. Called back a few weeks later to meet HR. Hiring manager gave me a an assignment to test my credit skills. Called back a third time to meet the GM. GM asked me my personal interests. He seemed disinterested when I mentioned cycling, but was very impressed when I mentioned that I volunteered at an animal shelter.
