I have been working at Isaacson MillerPros
its the best in the search business for the nonprofit sector. great people and amazing clients.Cons
work/life balance can be tough because of workload, travel, and few slow times during the year and business cycle - and salaries comparatively low for the industry.Advice to ManagementAdvice
The senior managers are wonderful people and wonderful search consultants, but not as interested in running the company. They should hire a "real" CEO to run the business and let the partners just do search.Recommends
Getting an Interview
Getting an Interview
- Application Details
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days – interviewed at Isaacson Miller.Interview Details
There were several people on the interview panel, of varying seniority. Although each person on the interview panel was nice, the description of the role varied by interviewer, and each seemed acutely aware of the dysfunctional nature of the company. The interview went smoothly from start to finish; each interviewer kept to their time slot and the interview started on time. They were also very prompt with their decision to hire.Interview Questions
Reasons for Declining
- There were no technical questions or business cases. Mainly the interview was behavioral. Answer Question
The role seemed to be a little junior for my skill level.Declined OfferPositive ExperienceEasy Interview
