    I worked at Island Resort and Casino part-time for more than a year


    You get to meet and know the regular customers. You can keep your own tips instead of splitting most nights.


    Tips are taxed, some patrons are horrible tippers. Ten hour shifts are nice on good tipping nights (Friday and the weekend) but the weekdays are horribly slow.
