I have been working at Journeys shoes part-time (less than a year)

This is my first job (I'm sixteen year old girl) and I absolutely love it here,I've worked for a couple of months
    - Great discount (40%) which is out of whatever amount of money they give you to use specifically for the discount because the moneys gotta come from somewhere
    - Minimum wage but if you're smooth, you can also get paid commission instead whatever standard pay if you sell more than what you were originally gonna get before for whatever $$/hr
    - I love my co-workers and manager, very chill
    - Only dress code is journey shoes and to dress decently
    - I was hired for seasonal but was easily changed to regular because I am good with people and sales

    - Most customers are nice but sometimes it seems like the pay isn't worth it
    - Sometimes I get kind of scolded at from my managers but it is their job to keep good sales but they're still really nice
    - Closing can be from half an hour to two hours, depending if it was a holiday or big sale but not always horrible if your co-workers are your friends

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give the managers more of a break, they seem so stressed sometimes and I feel bad

It was pretty relaxed. We did it in the food court, so it was extremely noisey. They were really nice but they said you start out with less than eight hours a week, so this is the type of job for someone who doesn't already have a job. Although you will gain hours based on how much better you do in comparison to everyone else.
