I worked at Juno Healthcare Staffing System full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The staff are warm and the location is great

    Cons

Owners are so shrewd employees are underpaid and overworked. No departments and job description. You do what they ask you to do. One lady there even serves them food during lunch just because they sponsored her. Very unprofessional setting.

Employment, Recruitment and Placement Specialist Interview

Anonymous Employee  in  New York, NY
Anonymous Employee in New York, NY
    Application Details

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days - interviewed at Juno Healthcare Staffing System in June 2013.

    Interview Details

I received a call from one of their staff and discussed the job over the phone. I wanted to give it a chance so I went for the interview. The staff are accommodating and friendly. The office is cramped but nicely located along 5th Ave.

The President DR Teodoro can be difficult. He handles the interviews and asks irrelevant questions. He keeps stressing he is a Harvard alum. Some questions even boarder to private and personal that there were time I felt really awkward being in the room. Overall, the job was not that hard but they pay really low. Even their recruit nurses complain about their rates and benefits.

    Reasons for Declining

Their offer was not even within the minimum wage! If you are called for an interview, make sure you discuss the rate first. I know someone who only worked for a week because she was surprised when she got her pay.
