Great wellness oriented company that encourages and promotes employees to live a healthy lifestyle so they can be the best individual both personally and professionally. This company is an ESOP organization so we are all owners who share in the profits of the company. Everyone pays attention to the bottom line, and tries to perform to their best ability to share in those profits. They are open to hiring individuals who sometimes don't have the experience they are looking for, but have future "ability" to be great contributors.

KI runs very lean, however, there is never a dull day, with plenty to do.

    Advice to Management

Continue to hire good leaders who will drive future success of the company.

    Difficult Interview

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at KI (Green Bay, WI).

Had dinner with a manager who proceeded to drink quite a bit, it was 2 for 1 happy hour. When I described sports I was involved in, he laughed uncontrollably at the notion of a woman being a black belt, he was literally crying. He then dropped me off and charged his breath mints to my hotel to my room so he could go home after drinking, most would realize incidentals are charged to the occupant. The next day, I had a behavioral interview with prior knowledge of specific spin selling techniques required, and a very stringent and awkward role play where you need to fish for the "right" information with the VP of sales. Obviously the position was vacant for years, and probably still is with this crew.

KI IN THE NEWS: KI Gives Alternative Education Program a Boost:

Alternative education program expands with manufacturers help

Two years ago, Miguel Cornelio didn't think he'd graduate from Green Bay Preble High School. "I was on the borderline," Cornelio said. "This wasn't an easy pathway for me. But my mom said I have to graduate." Today, Cornelio not only made his mom proud by graduating on time, he's transitioning into a full-time job at KI, the Bellevue office furniture manufacturer.
