    Pros

Flexible Schedule. Good opportunities to move up. Opportunities to teach abroad. If you are familiar with multiple tests, you can teach multiple tests.

    Cons

Low base pay rate. It's difficult to get enough classes to earn a full time living wage.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3+ weeksinterviewed at Kaplan Test Prep.

    Interview

I was called on the phone to apply by a recruiter since I was a previous student in their MCAT class and had done well on practice exams. The next step was to record a short four minute audition explaining a question from a choice of four questions. After that, the next step was to learn how to teach four more questions and talk with a current MCAT instructor via video chat. I taught one problem and was given feedback on how I could improve on teaching the second problem. I was notified a week later that I was not selected to move onto the next step, which is a more formal interview with the hiring manager of wherever you live.
