Kareo Medical Office Software for Small Practices
At Kareo, we believe in small practices. We know small practices can do big things, as long as they have the right tools and support. That’s where our cloud-based software and services come in. These solutions are helping more than 25,000 providers succeed. And we’d like to help you, too.
We’ve built our products and services with three key things in mind. First, they’re easy to use. Whether you’re experienced, inexperienced, tech-savvy or not, you’ll appreciate the simplicity and smart design of our software. Second, it’s all integrated. We’ve developed solutions for your three biggest administrative challenges — EHR, practice management and billing — that all work similarly and talk to one another seamlessly. You can use one or all of them, it’s up to you. And finally, it’s affordable. We offer fixed fees, a free EHR, and no long-term commitments. It doesn’t get much easier than that. It’s all part of our commitment to helping you succeed.

No really, it’s free
Why would we give our EHR away? One simple reason: we want to earn your business. There are no strings attached, no ads included, and no worries of your information being sold to third parties. We just want to show you what Kareo can do for your practice on the clinical side so you might consider our Kareo Practice Management or Kareo Billing Service in the future. It really is that simple.
It all starts with easy. That’s the essence of Kareo Practice Management (PM). We make it easier to run your small medical practice. With our simple to use, cloud-based solution, you don’t have to worry about training your staff or maintaining equipment and servers.
Our intuitive software streamlines everything from scheduling and storing patient information to sending insurance claims and collecting balances. And with easy-to-access reporting and dashboards, you’ll always know exactly what’s happening in your practice and where you stand financially
Smart and simple
We designed Kareo PM so anyone can use it, no matter their tech savvy. We’ve simplified and streamlined functions to take out complexity and unnecessary features that just cause confusion. Our workflows are easy to navigate and cover all important tasks. And if you do need help, we’re here for you.
Built-in best practices to get you paid
If you don’t get paid, you don’t practice. That’s why Kareo PM starts the process even before you see the patient by making sure your team captures the right information and validates coverage up front. Your staff can send and track insurance claims and receive electronic payments. And it also makes it easy to accept patient credit card or e-check payments right in your office.

You can use our cloud-based software to access your practice information dashboards in the office, at home, in the hospital or anywhere you want to work. Best of all, you don’t have to worry about having servers and software that you have maintain. We take care of it. And if you’re finding time and resources tight, you can always explore our Billing Service for an outsourced option.

Getting an Interview
Getting an Interview
- Application Details
I applied online. The process took 2 days – interviewed at Kareo Medical Office Software for Small Practices.Interview Details
I submitted an online application and received an email reply to setup a phone interview with their recruiter two days later. I was very pleased as the email came within an hour or two after submitting my application and resumé through their website. The recruiter called promptly and we had a good discussion over my experience, the roles required of me, and then how the two worked together. The company seems like your typical tech-saavy OC company that is into a community-based work space that seemed highly progressive and forward thinking. I was interested in both the role, but the culture as well highly interested me.
There was nothing difficult about the interview, and in terms of marketing communications it was a very fluid conversation that we had about experience versus expectations. The recruiter was very pleasant and informed me that I would receive a call in the next few days to setup a secondary phone interview with a few other managers, and then bring me in to meet the people I would be working with, and if all goes well an offer would be made.
I sent my follow up messages through email to the assistant who setup the interview, as well as to my recruiter and looked forward to the next call. A week passed by, where upon I followed up again with my recruiter and the assistant. I did not receive a single response from either follow-up and was left in the dark.
If not left with some idea that the interview would move forward, I would've not expected feedback, but I did not receive anything at all from the company and was treated like I did not exist anymore. I found this highly unprofessional and unsettling. It is common courtesy to inform an potential interviewee that they are not a prime candidate, rather than completely cut off communication with them and not update them about the position. I was left feeling very jaded from this interview process, as not one but two people had not returned any form of reply. I hope they have since adjusted this practice and are keeping their potential employees in the loop.Interview Questions
