I worked at Katten as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Reasonable hours considering the industry. Ability to work directly on client accounts and on major cases. Other employees were friendly and helpful. Company values pro bono work and makes an effort in this area. Direct access to upper level staff even in summer internship role.

    Cons

Compensation wasn't spectacular. Had to learn on the go, no formal/useful training. Occasional disconnect from the rest of the office (seeing the same few people everyday).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Would've liked the ability to work more across departments.
