I have been working at Kearney & Company full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

The company compensates employees for all hours worked including training and other firm-related activities (bid and proposal work). These hours can also be "banked" to increase your Vacation or Sick leave balances during the year. This is unheard of at all the big 4 firms with Federal Consulting Practices. Coming from a 5,000+ employee Federal Practice in DC to Kearney's firm was a breath of fresh air. Leaders are approachable, there's actually a work/life balance or at least they pay you for it, and raises/benefits/fringe are good.

    Cons

Nothing currently after less than 1 year on the job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't change anything to drastically. The formula you have works well. Try to stay independent given all of the recent M&A activity with mid-level firms.

    Interview Details

The interview process was smooth, had a phone interview with the recruiter and he scheduled an in person interview at the end of the call. The interview was easy, a little bit too easy which should've been my first clue. I was told they had lot of open positions of which i perfectly qualified for, left the interview feeling pretty good about my future with Kearney & Company, but alas got a denial email two days later. Their loss.
