I worked at Kenco Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Culture is focused on inclusion and input from all levels of the organization. Data driven and focused on an engineered approach and review of the operations. There are great people working at all levels, focused on success, but in the right way. The "10 Principles of Success" has turned into the "Guiding Principles" which are more than just marketing material.

    Cons

The structure is in transition as the company prepares to handle the next level of growth. It is being managed well, but is creating adjustments and change in the organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Obviously, stick to your principles...it is a competitive advantage and creates loyalty. Continue to focus on the strategic initiatives, but balance day to day operational requirements. There are only so many hours in the day to keep everything moving.

    Application Details

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days - interviewed at Kenco Group in November 2010.

    Interview Details

Basic. Application, Resume, phone interview, in person interview, drug screen and physical. All the standard questions and a couple geared towards leadership situations. All the usual forms; work history, background check, physical, drug screen... For the most part it was the same as any other company I've interviewed for employment.

    Interview Questions
    • What would you do if you were running the company? What would you do in a conflict situation with an associate?   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
Was already working there as an associate so when I was being promoted, it was a take it or leave it situation. I tried to negotiate but was told it is what it is.
