I worked at Kennesaw State University

    Pros

I worked as a student and found that the university was very supportive of me. Overall, everyone was friendly and I gained experience working with diverse groups of people.

    Cons

The pay was low, which was expected as a student worker. There was not too much of an official time off policy, they tried to assist you in any way they could though if you needed the time off

The hiring process was not hard as I was a contractor trying to obtain new fitness classes. It did require a demonstration of my class performance and also a detailed resume of my fitness experience. Upon being hired, you will be required to provide your current fitness class certifications, your American Heart Association or Red Cross CPR certification, as well as professional liability insurance coverage.
