I worked at Kenneth Cole full-time (More than 5 years)Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEODoesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEO
Worked there for years and enjoyed 90% of it. Great benefits. Great store level dynamic.
Through the years the communication started breaking down due to VERY bad decisions in upper management and hiring of incompetant DMs who were so concerned about losing teir jobs that they threw anyone else under the bus. There was a division between store level and corporate level that didn't exist before and store management was threatened with termination for speaking to anyone in corporate without permission.
Advice to Management
The company is all but dead at this point. They are fighting to stay alive and won't listen to the people who are at store level and know what is actually going on. Hire from within. Promote. Listen. Keep promises

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days – interviewed at Kenneth Cole (Houston, TX).
It was really short and sweet. I applied at the mall so we left the store and sat at Pinkberry for the interview. Dress professionally But fashionable. For example: Heels, a blazer, and black dress pants. Hair, nails, and eyebrows need to be groomed. Wear natural makeup or a clean red lip. Interview was short and easy.
