    Cons

During the short period of time I was employed at Kessler International, these are the things I learned:
    • Management is rude and inconsiderate to their employees
    • Kessler International is deceitful regarding the number of employees and office locations
    • Management bring their dogs to work and they defecate throughout the office

"Research Writer" Or So They Say Interview

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Kessler International in November 2013.

    Interview Details

I was suspicious on arrival ... The dogs in the office and the eerie quietness of the office. It seemed like the employees were too scared to talk. I was interviewing elsewhere so I wasn't taking it too seriously. I wound up verbally accepting it bc I was still waiting on another job and I thought it might be a good idea in the meantime. I was promised an offer letter via email and I never got it. When I called to ask for it I was brushed off. Then I received a call that Monday and I was asked why I didn't show up for work. Again, I stated that I would need a written offer to consider before starting. I was told there were "Internet problems" and the woman pretended to have already sent it that Friday. I was practically hung up on. Then an hour or so later, I received a ridiculous letter with no job title or description, just basics about the company. Meanwhile, they already gave me a huge packet wanting to know every little detail about me (except my shoe size). The letter was even made out to a man named James on the bottom, so they clearly just recycled any old letter. The letter stated nothing about benefits or anything relating to the job itself. The man in charge is very sloppy and I can see why none of their employees last...just look on Linkedin and you will notice each employee, with the exception of one or two, has worked there for less than a year.
