Kinnser Software leads the industry in innovative, Web-based home health software and world-class customer support. Management, software development, and technical support are headquartered in Austin, TX.
President & Founder
Christopher Hester founded Kinnser Software in 2003, when he began developing a Web-based software for home health agencies. Mr. Hester maintains a central role in the continuing development of Kinnser's product line and working with agencies and industry consultants to improve the quality of technology available to home health providers. Mr. Hester brings to Kinnser more than a decade of experience in information technology primarily focused in healthcare applications.
Chief Financial Officer
Brian Thomson provides leadership to Kinnser Software regarding finance, accounting, human resources and customer support/training. Prior to joining Kinnser, Mr. Thomson worked ten years for Rackspacein a variety of roles, including Finance Director-International, Managing Director-International, VP-Corporate Development, and finally US Chief Financial Officer. He has an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He earned his Bachelors in Business Administration from Baylor University.
Associate Vice President of Client Services
Shirley Fritsch leads Kinnser’s Support and Training teams, bringing over 20 years experience in customer service and technical support leadership. Her success and personal emphasis on productive customer interaction is reflected in the support and training services that Kinnser provides our customers – from thorough in-person and online training programs to superior telephone and e-mail support. Ms. Fritsch holds a BBA from Texas A&M University.
Vice President of Sales
Scott Hester leads Kinnser’s national sales organization, including inside sales, account managers, sales managers, and regional account executives across the United States. After a decade in a sales management role developing corporate partnerships for some of the largest entertainment venues in the country, Hester joined Kinnser in 2007 to lay the foundation for a sales infrastructure and team that would drive revenue, profit and meet customer needs. His insights and leadership have empowered Kinnser to become the market leader in home health software and to be recognized as one of America's fastest growing companies by Inc. Magazine for four years. He has a degree in Sports Management from the University of Houston.
Jonathan DampierVice President of Marketing
Jonathan Dampier leads Kinnser’s marketing organization, including branding, demand generation, product marketing, content marketing, and thought leadership. Jonathan has over 20 years of global experience building and running marketing organizations. Prior to joining Kinnser, Jonathan served as Vice President of Marketing at ESO Solutions and has served in senior marketing leadership roles in companies such as Dell, Vignette, and Newgistics. Jonathan earned his Bachelors in Business Administration from Florida State University.
George D. Santillan
Vice President of Engineering
George Santillan's responsibilities at Kinnser include the software engineering, testing and production operations of the Kinnser.net system. George brings more than 20 years of software engineering experience. Prior to Kinnser, Mr. Santillan was VP of Product Development at Trintech in Dallas, Texas and has held software development leadership positions with CSC and Ernst & Young. Mr. Santillan received his BS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
In the Community
Kinnser is based in Austin, Texas. When most people think of Austin, they think of beautiful scenery, the vibrant and historic University of Texas, the fascinating bats beneath the Congress Avenue bridge, and the city’s status as “the live music capital of the world,” but Austin is also a mecca for technology and innovation. Kinnser has assembled a powerful team of some of the smartest, most creative thinkers anywhere. As Kinnser president and founder, Chris Hester has said, “Austin has been a great city for me to grow a business and a family.”
Generous charitable giving fits well in the values of Kinnser Software. We see ourselves as a vital part of multiple communities – our city, our nation, and our industry of healthcare. And we have eagerly supported programs that help meet the needs of all these communities.
The Kinnser Scholars Program is a $225,000 fund that will award 90 recipients at Austin Community College with full scholarships for tuition, fees, books and nursing program expenses over the next five years. Students in the Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) and Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) programs are eligible. The program is part of the Austin Community College Foundation.
Austin Children's Center
Kinnser Software was pleased to make a charitable donation of $150,000 to the Austin Children’s Shelter a safe haven for children, young adults and families who are in crisis. The organization provides critical services and quality care in a safe and nurturing environment. Through its long-term care and transitional living services, the Austin Children’s Shelter can extend its sustaining, positive effect on young lives.
Disabled American Veterans
Kinnser founder & president Christopher Hester made the decision to contribute $15,000 to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Charitable Service Trust, a national organization, based on his service in the Army and his desire to help veterans in need. The DAV Charitable Service Trust supports physical and psychological rehabilitation programs, aids and shelters homeless veterans, and meets the specific needs of veterans with disabilities.
Capital Area Food Bank
Emergency food assistance is a critical need in most urban centers, and our home of Austin is no exception. Kinnser supported the local Central Texas community with a $10,000 donation to the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas. The Capital Area Food Bank of Texas nourishes hungry Central Texans by providing food and grocery products to more than 350 partner agencies in 21 Central Texas counties.
