I have been working at Kirkland's part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The store's product sells itself. Very nice home interior type merchandise. The store is very busy and work days go very fast.

    Cons

Low pay, not enough hours per week makes for a small payroll check. The job can become somewhat physical, as most employees are scheduled to unload the truck 2 days per week and break down the boxes of merchandise. All employees are expected to walk or stand the entire shift, with no breaks for employees working less than 6 hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management has been tremendously supportive and easy to get along with.

They are looking for someone to say they greet, ask what room they are decorating, and follow up with customer before they exit. Invite the customer back.
