I worked at Kobre & Kim full-time (More than a year)

Extremely substantive, a lot of client contact, and unusual opportunity for analysts to take on management and leadership responsibilities

Relentless hours. In addition, an analyst program at a law firm is not common, so future employers outside of law may not immediately understand the training and skills you have. That said, former analysts have successfully moved into business and tech roles.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Kobre & Kim (New York, NY).

I was quickly contacted for an interview on campus after I applied. Following this, I was asked to select the regional office I was more interested in (DC or NY) and then invited for a series of interviews and lunch. Everyone was friendly and open about their experiences with the firm.

    • They asked me to describe my independent research at my university and to "teach them" about one subject.   Answer Question
