Kohl's – Why Work For Us?

undefined

Our promise to our customers is “expect great things.” Every day we set out to deliver on that promise, but how we do it is what differentiates us from our competition and defines who we are as a company. We live by a set of values that ensure we get the job done effectively, efficiently and ethically, while taking care of each other and having fun.

We are idealistic but realistic; we are driven by the greater good rather than personal gain; we like to solve problems rather than talk about them; and we believe in heroes who make above and beyond part of their everyday work. Most of all, we believe that good enough never is. We’re going for great.

undefined

We thrive as a team because we know we can deliver greatness better together than alone. Through collaboration and strong partnerships, we can better fulfill our promise to serve our customers, communities and Associates.

undefined

We are driven by great success and results — it’s what has taken us from a small-town store to one of the nation’s largest retailers. We expect greatness and reach it by making ethical decisions and working in an environment of loyalty, trust and integrity.

undefined

We take a lot of pride in our core values because they help define who we are and how we work — as individual Associates and as a team. Our values guide every decision we make, helping us to deliver great things day after day.

undefined

We accomplish great things at Kohl’s every day. We appreciate and recognize our Associates for their contributions, both big and small — it drives us to work harder and make an even greater impact in our jobs and in our communities.

Kohl’s is proud to be a member of the community. And being a part of a community means we have responsibilities to fulfill. We think it’s important to give time, energy and money through our many Kohl’s Cares programs. We also protect the environment by seeking innovative solutions that encourage long-term stability. Responsibility to our investors, communities and environment — it’s all a part of what makes us Kohl’s.

Investor Relations

At Kohl’s, we have a responsibility to our investment community to provide accurate, timely and helpful information about our company. Whether you’re a prospective investor or long-time shareholder, we’re sure you’ll find these pages valuable.

Kohl’s Cares

We believe in giving back to the communities we serve, not just with money and resources but also with talent and time. Through our community giving and volunteer program, we support kids’ health and education, environmental initiatives nationwide and women’s health in Wisconsin, specifically the fight against breast cancer. Because the way we see it, giving back also means looking ahead.

Sustainability

Kohl’s is committed to protecting and conserving the environment by seeking innovative solutions that encourage long-term sustainability. From large-scale initiatives, like constructing environmentally friendly buildings, to everyday practices, like recycling hangers, we’re taking big steps to ensure we leave a smaller footprint.

    Interview Details

Applied on company website, received an invitation to do an Hire Vue interview about ten minutes later. Was invited to Menomonee Falls corporate HQ for the final round. Immediately evident that they do this process multiple times for the same training class. Interview day consists of presentations by the company and three one on one interviews lasting 20 minutes each. Interviewers are good cop, bad cop and some what bad cop. Then they have you work in an group of people to come up with an strategy for an fictional situation to watch how you work in an group. Not enough time given to discuss each point let alone gather thoughts and come up with an strategy. Large amount of people flown in for very few jobs. Nice recruiters and presenters but it seems as if though there is movement in and out of the company quite quickly.
