I have been working at Kohl's full-time for more than 8 years

Very flexible on scheduling, work around school or other jobs. Best to be full time, but you get decent hours if you prove you are capable, reliable, and a hard worker. If all of those apply you can advance when the opportunity presents itself, but it is important to share your ambitions with management. If you build a relationship with the managers, they are likely to help you out when needed, provided you do your job of course.

Irregular hours, occasionally rude and demanding customers who year you like scum of the earth, but these people are rare. Little training given on even the most basic of tasks. A lot of people that her hired don't care about the job and can make it more difficult for the ones that do care. There is always a shortage of payroll, except at Christmas.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Add full time positions to foster a sense of responsibility. Allocate more payroll, enough to have one person per department from open to close.
