    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Konecranes.

    Interview Details

Applied online. Contacted by the recruiting company. Had a telephone interview with the recruiting company. A few days later I was informed that I was scheduled for a face to face interview. The managers were very unprofessional and I had decided I didn't want to work for this company even before the interview had begun. I arrived ten minutes early for my interview time, saw the managers in their offices but still had to wait for over an hour for the interview because they all left for lunch. They didn't seem to know how to interview and the same questions were asked repeatedly, just different ways. The questions were "Why do you want to work for Konecranes when there are dozens of other crane companies out there?" "Why do you want to work with cranes?" "What do you know about the company?" "Have you applied anywhere else?" "Why would you apply There, if you wanted to work for Konecranes?"

I took five tests. Two electronics; basic and advanced, one mechanical, and two on cranes; parts and types of cranes and crane regulations. I was informed at the end of interview that if I was selected, the recruiting company would call me and let me know, after which I would be scheduled to come in for another interview and behavioral test. After this there would possibly be a third interview.
