I worked at Kramer & Frank

Management is client and goal focused, partners/owners are genuinely concerned for employees and treat them well. Slackers get booted, eventually, so don't expect a free ride. Hard workers appreciate the fact that slackers get booted, it's just a little frustrating that it takes so long. Expect to work hard, because all the groups are so dependent on each other. Hard work and loyalty is rewarded.

The company gives lazy do-nothings a few too many chances. They should cut the fat faster. There are a lot of long term employees that HATE the slackers. It takes a lot of people to make the company run well, and the slackers drag everybody else down. I guess the company lets the dead weight hang on because they are trying to get them up to speed rather than start all over again with a new employee.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cut the fat faster, and stop treating new employees like stars, overlooking the "under the radar" but steady performer.
