Be recognized and rewarded: For L’Oréal, each employee should be respected and rewarded for their efforts, their involvement and their contribution to the company’s performance. This approach is behind the Group’s compensation policy all over the world.
In line with its mission and its values, L’Oréal recognises and rewards the contribution of each employee to the company’s development by offering attractive compensation and a worldwide profit-sharing program, alongside key benefits like in our share and care program.
COMPENSATION THAT IS MARKET-COMPETITIVE
Compensation is regularly adjusted in line with the market, individual performance and efficiency in the post, qualifications and experience. Local salary structures are regularly assessed in terms of the outside market but also in terms of internal salary levels for equal responsibility, skills and experience.
L’Oréal has a performance-oriented culture. Our compensation policy reflects this very culture, including bonuses to reward high levels of personal performance and involvement as well as team and business unit performances. This system is currently being deployed in every country in which L’Oréal operates. The Group has also set up a program known as the Worldwide Profit Sharing (WPS) program which gives employees a share in the fruits of successes in their country. Finally, L’Oréal is investing in the long-term security of its employees by committing to offer benefit programs (which may include retirement, health care, death and disability plans) and other fringe benefits in line with the regulations and practice in each country, which will complement the compulsory schemes.

I have been working at L'Oréal full-time (more than 5 years)Pros
My favorite part of the L'Oreal culture is the never-ending quest to create and innovate. No matter what your job is, you will be expected to find new and better ways to work and to challenge the old way of thinking. Leadership is more accessible than most companies of similar size, and top managers encourage junior staff to disagree with them and create an opportunity for debate - this is how we get our best ideas! One of the perks is that you will never need to buy any beauty or grooming products (at least not a full price). There always seems to be free goods or you can shop in the L'Oreal company stores.Cons
Part of our culture is that we rely more people and personal networks than systems and process. This can create a feeling that things are not always smooth or defined. It is not considered a bad thing for the organization, as it has worked for more than 100 years, but it is not always easy for newcomers to understand. You have to be someone that wants to work in ambiguity and constant change.RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO

I applied online – interviewed at L'Oréal.Interview Details
The interview consists of multiple steps. First, you submit your application online. Second, you will be contacted for a phone interview (it only lasts about 15 minutes) if they are interested in you. The interview revolves around behavioral questions and every person receives different questions for the most part. About a week later, you will hear back regarding whether or not you advance to the final round, 'A Taste of L'Oreal' in which the company will fly you out to NYC.
In NYC, everything is kicked up about 50 notches. The first night includes networking with people who work at the company (they even brought the CEO to talk to us, which was a pretty amazing experience). The second day (and most intense day), consists of an all day case study. If you apply for CPD, there is a winning team, however, there isn't a winning team for the other divisions.
On the final day, you go in for an interview (2 on 1). One person is from HR and the other is from your department. Most questions are focused on the case study you did the day before, with a couple of behavioral questions. This interview will last about 30 minutes.Interview Questions
