I applied online. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at LEI Home Enhancements.

    Interview Details

I applied online and was contacted the next day to set up an interview. I interviewed the following day. The interview was a couple of basic stereotypical interview questions: past experience, strengths, when looking to start. It was less about qualifying me for the role, but more about selling me on the position (a door to door appointment setter).

I was surprised by the job. The posting I replied to made it seem like I would be planning marketing campaigns, coming up with new strategies, attending promotional events, etc. Something that really seemed to fit with my degree and experience. If I had known it was actually just going door to door, following a script when talking to homeowners, and a very sales oriented environment, I would have never applied.

I was offered the position at the end of the short interview. I was kind of surprised by this. I'm accustomed to a more strict interview process, with the company needing some time to decide whether or not I am a good fit, so not hearing back for a few days. Honestly, I was so taken aback and uncomfortable I said yes just to get out of there. I emailed them later to decline. I never heard back.
