I have been working at LIN Media as an intern (Less than a year)

Great Experience learning Weather Central Software. Being able to practice full-length each week was great practice too.

It would be helpful for the student if the intern position was paid

    Difficult Interview

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at LIN Media in July 2014.

The interview process for Lin Media is very aggressive and in depth. There is a phone interview and then 2-3 in person interviews. Doing your homework on the company and the position you are applying for is a must. You want to make sure that you have questions to ask at the end of your interview as well as be prepared to answer some difficult interview questions yourself. Some questions I have never been asked before and was surprised by the question. None of which were inappropriate, just questions that truly get into the meat of who you are and if you are the right person for the job.
