I have been working at LSG Sky Chefs full-time (More than 5 years)
Pretty easy to get hired. Always hiring. Steady work with overtime usually available. Weekly paycheck. Free meals. Free uniforms with laundry service and new shoes every 6 months.
Union. Poor pay and once you top out that's it, no more raises. Revolving door of employees. Poor benefits. If you start in January it will be 5 yrs and 11 mos before you get 2 weeks vacation. 3 sick days a year. 5 holidays and Memorial Day is not one of them. Health coverage for self and spouse almost $400 for 80/20 coverage. It's all about the bottom line and not the employee.
Advice to Management
Make the tools to succeed available, including but not limited to supervisors who are supposed to be available when a situation arises.

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at LSG Sky Chefs (Irving, TX).
Pannel interview, everyone very friendly. There were no difficult or intimidating questions, interviewers were mostly looking at how I would relate to them and get a feel for my character; felt very comfortable.
