I have been working at LSU full-time (More than 8 years)
Hustle and bustle of the LSU campus environment, state benefits including retirement, health insurance, vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, etc.
Traffic getting to and from campus at the beginning of the semester and on home game weekends, budget cuts can affect jobs and/or merit increases, HR department could be more organized, having to pay for parking as an employee.
Advice to Management
Have a more streamlined process and better communication with the Human Resources department to other divisions on campus - to include hiring, employee reimbursements, promotional opportunities, etc.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at LSU (Baton Rouge, LA).
First a telephone interview, then flown out for in-person interviews with group panel and department heads and lunch. Slightly delayed process due to university holidays. Later participated in multiple interview processes that involved the entire department, seeking the right fit for each position.
