I have been working at Landsbanki

Not a huge company but continously growing. Short ways of communication. This brings great opportunities to change something and to advance in your career. Easy to get responsibility. Nice people, international teams. Autonomous and independent work style.

Sometimes objectives and strategies seem to be random. Outdated IT infrastructure. Lack of unified software platforms within the branches. However this is subject to change (slowly). Sometimes high workloads caused by a lack of workforce. Management spends a lot of cash on events instead of investing into workforce or infrastructure. Not the highest pay, motivates talented people to leave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Should emphasize on consolidation and renewal of IT. Hire more people to get rid of bottlenecks. Controlling and Feedback of work results should be more consequently.
