    I have been working at Lane Bryant as an intern (more than a year)

    Pros

    Shadowing my manger was great she showed me how to do bra fittings, always let the client tell their story so you can she what she likes or what she doesn't like. Shadowing my manager for the day and see what sales goals need to be met, what new sales we have, or just in general learn the language in which she speaks to her clients to make them feel comfortable.

    Cons

    Credit card, the interest rate on the card isn't good for my credit! the sales and discounts for employees doesn't match the pay check! Lack of career advancement, I didn't feel an enormous amount of growth. 3 people should be on the schedule instead of 3.

    Interview Details

    Know current fashions and trends. Know their competitors and what they sell. Be prepared to put an outfit together and explain why you chose it. Be comfortable in your own skin, they want someone who works well with their team. It is advisable to speak with the store manager or assistant manager before applying or interviewing, that is what I did and it made the interview more comfortable. They will ask typical interview questions, nothing too invasive or out-of-the-ordinary. Really, they are focused on you and your style and if you will be able to sell their credit cards - if you are customer-service oriented, you will likely do well in the interview and the job.
