I have been working at Lawrence University as an internRecommendsNeutral OutlookRecommendsNeutral Outlook
You get personalized attention as an intern and you do not feel overwhelmed by the supervisor(s). The campus is very small but this can be an advantage because it helps you to contact people form different disciplines and share experiences and information in a very easy and more personal way. The people are very approachable and flexible with their schedules. They try to make you feel welcomed and this motivates you to work more effectively.
The campus is almost entirely closed during the summer months and there is nothing going on during the weekends. Combine this with the low social profile of Appleton and you may feel extremely bored out of work.
