I worked at Lend Lease full-time for more than 8 years

They do have a lot of training available both on line and in groups, Management does not micro manage on site projects, Has a good attitude to assist with additional man power if requested and needed, Empowers their team and holds accountable, Honest review and very helpful for building a better leader, completive salary and benefits, promotes within their own people per office.

Too paperwork heavy, Superintendents are so bogged down they cant manage the field QC and overall construction of a project as needed and held accountable when either fall behind which is unfair and requires extreme OT to even make ends meet. PM's not held accountable enough for timely execution of their duties, GMR's are making Lend Lease not completive with other top Companies and causing undue cost to Subcontractors and adding time to the project which are not followed on most sites anyway "until Upper Management of Safety comes on site" then even at that not followed. Upper management comes to visit and picks project apart and very little good comments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None really, US doesn't have any say in policy or procedure, all dictated from another country and no one is about to rock the boat. Seams that Lend Lease is not interested in maintaining their construction in the US and not only pricing themselves out of being competitive but with the rules and paperwork policies Owners are also beginning to see that Lend Lease is not what it once was.

I applied online. The process took 3 days - interviewed at Lend Lease.

    Interview Details

The interview was easy and was very simple. There was one person interviewing me and he would have been my boss. Nothing too difficult. The phone interview was more challenging in my opinion.

    Interview Questions
