I have been working at Level 3 Communications (less than an year)

    Pros

Great company and disruptive player in the industry. Forwarding thinking company and at the forefront of industry technology.
Great benefits, talented employees, very competitive pay, remote work for some depts many opportunities now and ahead as the company just purchased TW Telecom. Leadership is very strong and client and employee focused.

    Cons

Training. Onboarding wasn't smooth and was somewhat UNstructured. Seems the company shifted resources away from this important dept.systems integration hasn't come full circle since 3-4 acquired companies ago and the recent acquisition loses more challenges.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Devote the needed resources to fully integrate systems, learn from the global crossing integration mistakes. Strengthen the execution/delivery component. Decision makers at big companies talk to one another..
