    Pros

    Mostly good people, good salary and benefits, you will stay busy and there are lots of interesting projects if you have the right kind of role.

    Cons

    Glass ceiling is very much intact, especially outside of sales or HR. The best up and coming women keep leaving the company because they are fed up. A lot of leadership would rather work their team to death than dare say no to the big boss. Sometimes the work is really important and urgent and you have to do it. I get that. More often the big boss didn't actually care about the deadline and would not have wanted you to work all weekend. The middle manager doesn't get it.

    Advice to Management

    Ask for a balanced view of the good and the bad, otherwise you will only hear about the good. Stop promoting yes men and surround yourself with people who are honest and will tell you no or that the project will fail if you don't do x, y, z.
