I have been working at Libby Perszyk Kathman
LPK puts a lot of effort into maintaining a creative and fun environment to work. They are also very flexible with hours and vacation schedules. The company is an ESOP (employee owned), which you will gain company shares each year with a six year vesting period. LPK is a perfect place for someone starting out in the design business to gain design and branding experience. You will more than likely be exposed to P&G billion dollar brands and gain invaluable experience.
After 4-5 years you will likely feel stuck in your position without a whole lot of opportunity to advance. A new salary capping plan has taken away any incentive to over perform in hopes of gaining a salary increase.
Advice to Management
Make a commitment to add additional core clients so you can control your own destiny. Hire sales people dedicated to attaining new business, instead of relying on people who are not true sales people. Most successful companies realize that their salespeople are the most important people in the company. You are a great company, stop putting all your eggs in the same basket!
