Local Corporation has donated more than $650,000 to local schools as part of its Community Rewards program.

Executive Management

• Heath Clarke

  Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

  

  Heath joined the company as President and Chairman in March 1999 and has served as CEO since January 2001. From 1998 to 1999, Heath was Vice President of eCommerce for LanguageForce, Inc., a language translation software company. Prior to this he served as marketing manager for Starnet, a Canadian internet company. From 1995 to 1998, he was Special Projects Director for the Berg Group of Companies (Australia), and from 1988 to 1995, he was founder and CEO of Australian Fibre Packaging.

  Heath is a frequent guest speaker at local search and online advertising industry events. Also a guest lecturer for online advertising at Pepperdine's Executive MBA program, he was a finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. He also won TechAmerica's Innovator Award and was named Outstanding CEO at TechAmerica's 2010 Annual Orange County High-Tech Innovation Awards. Heath co-chaired events on the global economy and counter-terrorism as a member of Young Presidents' Organization, and is a Patron Councilor of the Atlantic Council, a Patron of the American Enterprise Institute, a President's Club Member of the Heritage Foundation, a President's Council Member of the Foundation for Economic Education, and a Member of the Ludwig von Mises Institute.

• Michael Sawtell

  President / Chief Operations Officer

  

  Michael has more than 20 years of operational leadership experience with public and private companies. Most recently, Michael was named senior vice president and general manager of Local.com's Sales and Advertiser Services business unit. Previously, Michael was founder and CEO of DigitalPost Interactive, an online digital media company and parent company of the Rovion business, acquired by Local.com in April 2011. Rovion sells, creates, delivers and tracks rich media advertising for leading brands. Michael was also founder of TheFamilyPost.com, an award-winning family media sharing platform, as well as the founder of WebsitesforHeroes.com, a digital media platform used by thousands of soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Prior to starting DigitalPost, Michael was the president and COO of Local.com from 2000 until 2005, where he was instrumental in preparing the company for its IPO in October of 2004. Michael previously held key management positions at Northrop Grumman Corporation and General Dynamics Corporation.

• Ken Cragun

  Chief Financial Officer

  

  Ken has over 20 years of senior level financial experience, and most recently served as Local.com interim CFO. Prior to being interim CFO, Ken served as the company's vice president of finance since April of 2009. He also served as CFO for Modtech Holdings, Inc. (MODT), a modular building manufacturer. Prior to Modtech, Cragun served as the senior vice president and principal accounting officer for MIVA, Inc. At MIVA, Cragun led the company through significant organic and M&A growth, increasing revenue from $45 million to $200 million. Cragun has also served as CFO for other public and online companies. Ken earned his CPA designation in California and has experience working for a Big Four accounting firm. He received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Colorado State University-Pueblo.

• Erick Herring

  Senior Vice President, Technology

  

  Herring has more than 15 years of senior level technology experience and most recently was the founder of daily deals company, Townloop. Previously Herring served as chief technology officer (CTO) and vice president of product for online feedback site, Feedback.com. Prior to Feedback.com, he also served as CTO of Adapt Technologies, Inc., which was acquired by WebVisible, where he became CTO and vice president of product. Herring also held key management positions at Zenith Insurance and Digital Evolution.

• Scott Reinke

• General Counsel

  

  Scott has 10 years of corporate law experience, and most recently served as executive vice president and general counsel for Emerging Media Group, Inc., which owns and operates TRAFFIQ, Inc., a leading digital media management and media buying platform, and Market Maker Interactive, a leading full service interactive agency. Prior to Emerging Media Group, Scott served as the vice president of legal and AGC for MIVA, Inc. (Nasdaq: MIVA), a provider of performance-based online marketing and commerce services.
