I have been working at Loft9 Consulting full-time (less than a year)

Everyone you meet at the firm is capable, interesting, smart and nice
There is a culture of leadership & creativity so if you have an idea you are supported
Leaders pay attention to you and your career goals
The firm has a large philanthropy bent--including pro-bono engagements in community from time to time.
The Account team is fantastically supportive
The engagements are interesting - more intellectual, less staff aug

Not necessarily a con, but the interview process is very selective, so bring your A game.
Other firms may pay a bit more of your rate %, but it comes out pretty close, so I chose Loft9 for it's "extras" including culture and opportunity--and could not be happier with my decision.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing exactly what you're doing--you have created a special culture where people care about the work and each other beyond the ordinary.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Loft9 Consulting.

    Interview Details

Went through 3 rounds of interviews for, in order: culture fit, skills, thought process. The first two are with long-time employees who are currently embedded in companies, to get a strong sense of the company culture and way of doing things, to walk through the resume in detail, and to ask questions in both directions. Prior to the 2nd interview you are asked for a writing sample (an up-to 2 page write-up of a project, process, or analysis you conducted, why, how, and outcome),

The third interview was with a founder and the Managing Director. It was again somewhat social, a walk through the resume, and then a couple of verbal case studies with time limits and a couple of scenarios / approach questions.

All interviews were conducted via Skpe or over the phone - nothing in person.
