Our mission is to help companies understand their data, discover insights and create a shared understanding that drives business forward.
We began with a vision that the web could transform how people see and use data. In 2000, CTO Arman Eshraghi founded the company to develop technology that lets web developers easily embed compelling data visualizations inside websites. Soon we developed a reputation for having the easiest and most reliable technology for creating web-based data visualization. This core technology evolved into the Logi Info platform‹, providing an extraordinarily fast and agile way to create entire web-based BI applications. Our exclusive Elemental Design Approach lets IT professionals and developers design and deploy BI solutions in a fraction of the time it takes with any other solution.
Today, our technology supports the BI initiatives of over 1400 companies around the globe. Our clients deliver meaningful information to their employees, partners, and customers in a faster, more flexible, and less expensive way. In addition to companies using the technology internally, we are the leading provider to the ISV and SaaS industries, where our technology is used on an OEM basis to seamlessly embed data visualizations directly in our customers¹ own software and services, increasing their revenues and satisfying customer demands.
We continue to evolve our technology and expand our market share by providing new advancements in mobile BI, analytics, self-service BI, and personalization. The company is headquartered in McLean, Virginia with sales and support offices in the UK and Europe. We are a private, venture-backed firm, with investments from GroTech Ventures, Updata Partners, Summit Partners, and LLR Partners.

Getting an Interview
Getting an Interview

I applied online. The process took 4 days – interviewed at Logi Analytics.
I applied for the position through the company's website. I received a phone call the next day from their Technology Recruiting Manager. We had a nice discussion and then a phone interview was set up. During the phone interview I was asked specific questions about a JS library that I had never used, or ever implied that I had used.
I then never heard anything after the phone interview. Given the questions, I assumed I wouldn't hear back, but just for due diligence, I sent an email to the recruiter, just confirming the state of things. I heard back from someone else at the company telling me "sorry no one got back to you, the person you were working with is no longer with the company".
Even though I have good experience with JS and lots of other languages, there was definitely no interest in finding out how well I know JS or can solve problems. Left me with the feeling that they weren't really looking for good engineers, just someone who could check certain boxes.
