I worked at Lynden Incorporated full-time (more than 10 years)

Lynden's management are smart, conservative thinking pros. They work with a sense of urgency and provide a thoughtful and considerate culture. The tenure of the employees is testament to that. Over time I've seen much discontent in other companies. Employee turnover is an important indicator.

It is true that opportunities do not abound because of employee longevity. However, if you work hard and conscientiously while getting along with people, your brains, energy and talent will take you where you want to go.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider a formal, but time efficient, annual review process. These would be one on one sessions so employees can voice their opinions/concerns. Lack of top down communication seems to be a recurring theme.
