I have been working at MAQ Consulting full-time
I really enjoy what I do! When you have worked in restaurants, retail and sales for so long, this place is a breath of fresh air to me. I feel challenged in the right amount that has caused me to grow a lot within the company. My ideas of change have been accepted and adapted and it is really letting me brand myself into this company. The atmosphere is really awesome! I love that they always have a learning hour on Fridays followed by good food. The learning hour is cool because non-tech people like myself can go learn computer skills. 20 days of PTO is really nice considering at the jobs I used to work, well if you didn't work that day you didn't get paid. The insurance is really great. So great that it actually competes with my husband's Microsoft health care. There are so many opportunities at this company that really motivate and excite me to be the best at my job. I feel really blessed to have been chosen for this position in this company.
The only complaint I have is the coffee, we need an espresso machine! :)

Getting an Interview
Getting an Interview
- No OfferPositive ExperienceAverage Interview
I applied through college or university. The process took a week. I interviewed at MAQ Consulting (Redmond, WA) in December 2014.
I spoke with a recruiter at a university recruiting event. He then later contacted me back to discuss the position more and my interests. I was then invited for an in office interview with 2 people. 1 was another project manager, and asked about my resume and behavioral questions. The second person was a potential co-worker where I would be taking over one of their projects, and asked about my resume and ended with a simple coding question. Each interview took about 30mins.
- Reviewed resume. Typical Behavioral questions. "tell me a time when ____". Ended with a simple programming question. Answer Question
