Our organization has been involved in direct Research Partnerships with companies throughout Europe and North America since 2001. MECLABS is a research institution focused on offer-response optimization particularly in the field of “value-exchange.”
MECLABS houses two wholly owned primary research facilities that currently conduct over 1,300 major experiments each year. In all, we have conducted tests with over 10,000 landing pages across 1 billion email sends and 5 million telephone calls. We have also developed the largest library of test protocols in our field.
As a means of field-testing our discoveries, our organization has created micro-research laboratories/projects within major companies around the world. We regularly publish the findings of this research at MECLABS in publications and briefings through MECLABS subsidiaries MarketingExperiments and MarketingSherpa.
As part of this work, MECLABS developed a patented platform with nine new conversion-related distribution formulas and a new research methodology for single-factorial testing and multifactorial testing in a digital environment.

You might be asking yourself these questions or more, so we wanted to help ease any concerns, satisfy curiosity, or just prepare you for the MECLABS interview experience.
We’ve developed a process to help you identify if the opportunity with MECLABS is the right fit for you. Our process is thorough, as our team members invest as much as 21 hours in each candidate hired – from reviewing resumes and skills tests to preparing and conducting interviews. We respect your time and take your investment seriously.
All of our interviews employ behavioral-based interview questions, where we are looking for examples of what you have done, not solely for your opinion or hypothetical situations. We want you to be prepared to talk about your past experiences, professional, academic or personal. Both successes as well as mistakes or failures.
Typical steps may include (not necessarily in this order):
- a phone interview with someone from our human resources team,
- a chance to show your stuff in a skills assessment,
- a tour of our facility,
- interviewing with team members from the position department (make sure to ask a lot of questions about the role and team),
- completing a couple of personality assessments (these help us get to know you a little better, a little faster)
- and interviewing with senior leaders.
We realize that this is a time investment on both our parts, but hope the process provides you with a good experience as well. We do our best to keep you updated as to where you are in the process and if we are not moving you forward, we will let you know as soon as a decision is made.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks – interviewed at MECLABS.Interview Details
Basically, I would reiterate would most people have said already. Overdone and generic interview questions such as "Tell me about a time when you had to deal with an angry customer," and "tell me about a time where you failed to meet a deadline." Then they basically re-phrased these questions. I also had to do 2 phone interviews and a copy editing test before even getting into the office for a face to face. I felt very confident about my interview, and I usually get call-backs. However, they emailed me with a declination letter that proclaimed that while my skills were impressive, they felt I wouldn't "enjoy" the position...I was baffled they could make that determination. It appears to be a euphemistic way they like to decline applicants so they don't hurt feelings. Interviewers were young, naive and seemed bored. The only friendly/warm person was the receptionist. It doesn't even seem like a great place to work...it's just one of the only 10 copy editing positions in lame-o Jacksonville. Also, this was about 2 years ago...the position is still posted on Indeed...Interview Questions
