I worked at MFS as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

I was a part of the summer internship program. It was great because upper management strived to make it as much as a learning experience as possible. We had weekly lunches with some of the key members of the company who gave us inspirational talks. The whole community was very welcoming.

    Cons

I worked at MFS right before the company moved from Boylston to Huntington Street. I found it strange that they were "growing" as a company but were moving to a smaller office in which people's hours had to be cut.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My experience with upper management was great, but I don't think the CEO is taking the company in the right direction.

    Application Details

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks - interviewed at MFS in February 2010.

    Interview Details

Extensive interview process with a large number of people. Usually,I was interviewed by a team of two personnel at a time. One session contained three people. Questions covered all possible subjects in the investment field. General questions could cover either investments or subjects about personal motivations, career goals and objectives as well as the ability to work individually or in in a team environment. By the time you are done, they know you and you know them very well.
