    I worked at MSN


    Interesting work. Strong people in most cases. Multiple career paths. Reasonable comp/benefits. It can be fun to work on things that are so high profile. Watched multiple people start at lower level positions and work themselves into management (good development).


    Can be frustrating because of big company challenges: slow to respond, constant political positioning to come out ahead in the next reorg. Comp is reasonable but not great.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    With the constant reorgs, accountability and the long view of the business gets lost. Those who implement their strategies move on to new roles before it's clear if the strategies worked. You're better off doing something that's good for the next 12 months than for the long term.
