I have been working at MTN Group (South Africa) full-time for more than 8 years

MTN is generally a great place to work. Being a fast moving telco, you do get exposure to a number of complex, innovative projects and programmes. This can prove exceptionally rewarding especially on completion of such. There is never a dull moment and you can be assured of being kept very busy every day. The rate of change is staggering and this is a highly dynamic company

From a leadership perspective there is perhaps less than adequate communications and guidance from a strategic perspective. It can be very silo based and often there is duplication across the organisation in terms of initiatives.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Leadership really need to empower staff more and reduce the levels of red tape in execution. Removing these barriers would go a long way in creating a truly world class organisation
