As a contract consulting company, MYMIC gives their employees genuine opportunities to work for quality clients. The work is legitimately challenging, and you will work for your dollar; however they stay true to the 40-hr a week rule, and rarely make you ever do overtime. The perks for the company are amazing for a small company, and they do their best to retain for the long-term.

MYMIC HQ seems to beam-down on their consultants in the most infrequent times, and their leadership is extremely disconnected from their own workforce.

    Advice to Management

Mind your own business, don't pretend you know your consultant's job or client more than your consultant.

    Average Interview

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at MYMIC (Arlington, VA) in April 2014.

I accomplished a telephone interview only. Interview was fair and balanced. More conversational than an interview and no trick questions. Interviewer wanted to know my experience level with respect to two main competencies required in this position. I had an opportunity to ask questions at end and answers were candid and helpful. The only issue I have is with the hiring process (vs the interview): all information was not always forthcoming with respect to the contract dates, salary and benefits. I don't think they were withholding the information, only not communicating within the company.
