Magna International – Why Work For Us?

Magna began in a small garage in Canada, and today our 130,000 employees circle the globe. Our entrepreneurial roots motivate us to move forward as an innovative and forward thinking company, and our Corporate Constitution and Employee’s Charter are at the core of our business practices. With a diversified work force, we encourage you to find your fit and pursue your passions. At Magna, the future is ours to make.

People like you transform companies, drive social enterprise, create new ventures and build dynamic communities. You think differently, act differently, and ultimately make a difference. You observe the world, and ask challenging questions. You network with diverse people, experiment to figure out novel situations, and connect the typically unconnected to bridge the gap between ideas and products, principles and goods, processes and results.

The future is ours to make, and we want people like you.

At Magna, we consider every employee an important member of the team as we work together towards a common set of goals that will be the key to our future and will help guarantee our success:

  • To serve our customers efficiently and effectively by providing a quality product at a competitive price;
  • To have a profitable company which will provide job security for our employees, opportunities for growth and advancement and personal job satisfaction within a safe work environment;
  • To increase employee ownership in the company through the Employee Equity and Profit Participation Program; and
  • To promote team spirit, mutual respect and fairness.

We operate according to the principles we have committed to in the Employee's Charter and the Corporate Constitution. In support, we establish various programs and procedures in our facilities around the world. These are adapted to the laws and cultures of the countries and regions in which we operate, however, the intent is the same throughout - to have employees feel valued and connected within the Magna family and to share in our success.
