Rick Haviland - President

Serving as President of MarketSource since October 2009, Rick Haviland has set the overall strategic direction and plans for the future growth of the organization, while focusing on enhancing its portfolio of sales and marketing services. Haviland has established MarketSource as the premier provider of outsourced integrated sales and marketing services through a strong emphasis on customer relationships, improved operating efficiencies and execution, measurable and proven value proposition, and a high performance, relationship-based culture.

Haviland has been instrumental in helping MarketSource's customers understand how to capitalize on an outsourced sales and marketing services model as a valued, cost effective and innovative business solution. Haviland's proven track record of business development coupled with his long-term strategic vision and leadership has helped MarketSource serve as an industry leader in providing customized programs and solutions to meet customer needs.

In November 2012, Haviland was also appointed as President of Allegis Group Services. He is now responsible for both organizations and is looking to take advantage of the strength and synergies provided by both of these industry leading services businesses.

Before joining MarketSource, Haviland spent 13 years at Allegis Group where he held a variety of strategic leadership roles within the family of operating companies, including TEKsystems, Aerotek and Allegis Group Services.

Haviland holds a Bachelor of Arts in Labor Relations from Michigan State University and is on the Junior Achievement of Georgia Board of Directors.

Mike Christensen - Executive Vice President, Retail Business

Announced as Executive Vice President in September 2013, Mike Christensen is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of MarketSource, providing oversight of the key sales and operations of the business.

Previously, Christensen served in the role of Vice President of Client Services since 2009 where he was responsible for the overall strategic execution and delivery of MarketSource’s sales and marketing programs in an effective, innovative and efficient manner, helping customers accelerate their revenue growth and increase market share, while elevating their brands in the marketplace.

In that role, Christensen effectively drove continuous improvement in the company’s world-class field sales and marketing team by implementing the organization’s overarching vision within its route-to-market and industry vertical approach.

Backed by more than 20 years of sales and delivery strategy development and implementation experience, Christensen has been instrumental in building and developing a world-class team of sales and operations professionals who are focused on delivering maximum value to MarketSource customers.

Christensen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and has been with the Allegis Group family of companies since 1996.

Bob Hunter - Vice President, Planning and Strategy

Announced as Vice President of Planning and Strategy in November 2013, Bob Hunter partners with the executive team and business unit leaders to develop and maintain MarketSource’s strategies and tactical plans. From prioritizing, assigning resources and overseeing the work in support of the plans Hunter will provide his expertise to ensuring MarketSource business moves forward.

Previously, Hunter served in the role of Vice President of Professional Services Group, which provided shared services to its Commercial, Retail Channel Services and Retail Sales Operations programs through its Information Center, Innovation Center and Practice Leadership Center of Excellence. Joining MarketSource in 2009, Hunter led all efforts in the areas of the shared professional services, including business intelligence and reporting, training, technology, sales support, business process engineering and continuous improvement.

Hunter began working with Allegis Group in 1994 when his company, Entier, was hired to re-engineer the back office of what was then Team Aerotek. In his roles, Hunter has played an integral part in the transformation of Allegis Group Information Systems (IS) and in supporting other operating companies, including MarketSource.

Mark Mueller - Vice President, Finance and Administration

Serving as MarketSource’s Vice President of Finance and Administration since 2011, Mark Mueller provides strategic financial leadership through supporting growth, managing the company’s financial and legal risks, and forecasting areas of opportunity.

Mueller provides leadership and coordination for all corporate operations in the areas of administration, finance, business planning, accounting, budgeting, investments, legal, human resources, compliance and risk management and corporate communications. Mueller is focused on finding creative ways to streamline and integrate back office processes that provide operational efficiency, and support the financial growth of MarketSource.

Prior to joining MarketSource, Mueller spent the past 12 years in various financial roles within the Allegis Group of companies.

Ted Grulikowski - Vice President, Commercial Business

Grulikowski is responsible for the overall strategy and performance of the commercial business unit, engaging, enabling and equipping the best people to deliver the best sales experiences, transforming the way leading companies think about how they solve their commercial sales challenges.

Grulikowski has extensive experience designing, deploying, and executing sales solutions across a wide range of industries for many of the most respected brands in the world and a diverse mix of small and medium businesses.

Prior to joining MarketSource more than five years ago, Grulikowski served in many progressive sales and marketing roles at General Electric and Ford Motor Company, leading efforts and delivering results across the entire B2B customer engagement lifecycle.

Grulikowski holds a degree from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and has completed executive education at the General Electric John F. Welch Leadership Center and the Allegis Group Executive Institute.

I began my career with MarketSource in October of 2009. I was hired on as one of the original 14 Support Team Representatives, on the HP US Retail program. I supported two Territory Managers; within an area that spanned across 14 states. I helped manage a combined total of 120 part time employees. The primary responsibility of my position was to manage the reps schedules, and ensure that event coverage was met, and/or exceeded, by both client and MarketSource targets. During this time, I was very fortunate to be able to interact and learn from not only my immediate team, but also the HP US Senior Management team as well. I joined MarketSource as a Contract Recruiter in August of 2008. After 6 months of working closely with my manager and fantastic recruiters in a variety of verticals, I settled in as a regular employee and recruiter focused primarily on communications in March of 2009. Over the course of the next year I had the pleasure of supporting a number of programs and working with an array of hiring managers who instilled in me the desire to learn about the difference MarketSource made in the wireless market both through direct and indirect sales. As MarketSource earned the T-Mobile Part-Time National Direct Program, I began to focus more and more on supporting the T-Mobile recruiting efforts. This led to taking on the responsibilities as the Lead Recruiter for the T-Mobile recruiting team. This afforded me the opportunity to further develop and showcase my skills beyond the realm of recruiting. With the encouragement of my manager, director, and the executive director over the T-Mobile program, I applied for the position of Regional Coordinator which I transitioned into in July of 2010. As the first recruiter to move into the operations aspect of the business, I am excited about what the future holds and what other doors will open as I continue to grow my career at MarketSource. 
Experience and hard work count for a lot at MarketSource. Your ability and willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities is encouraged, supported and recognized. All of this combined with the desire to make a difference for the business based on solid relationships is the key to success!

    Pros

    Lots of projects that you can grow into. It's a great personal growth opportunity if you get the right mentor to help guide you. The parent company is Allegis Group which has companies all over the world. There is lots of opportunities with this company as it's the largest people management company in the world.

    You can get stuck in a negative situation with the wrong management, but that's the case with just about any company isn't it?

    I applied online. I interviewed at MarketSource.

    I sent my resume to a recruiter that had a job posting on a website. I got a call really fast, literally within 30 minutes. I had a phone interview with the recruiter, answered a couple of questions online through an app, and I had an interview set up with the DM by the end of the Day. I had the interview the next day. It was pretty relaxed, but still felt professional. It was quite easy, and I was asked common interview questions. I was called about 45 minutes later by the recruiter, and he told me that the DM liked me, and he wanted to offer me the position. I applied and got the position within the first week of the month, took a drug test, completed verification of employment status, and did online training (unpaid) for the next two weeks, and then I was actually in the store and working on the last week of the month. I was in training for about four shifts, then got to work on my own.
