I have been working at Maryland SECU full-time (More than 3 years)

Open to employee voice and suggestions Progressive and not waiting to be overtaken by other companies or change in general Fair pay for work well done Focus on the whole person, not just what she or he can provide to the company Motivated to do the right thing for employees and members Strong communication, for the most part Great product and service offering Work hard, focus on the member and you can move up - there is not a lack of opportunity for those that apply themselves, are responsible, hold themselves accountable and actually get to work or get to work on time!

LOTS of projects and work all happening, all the time At times, too many competing initiatives

    Advice to Management

Continue to change and evolve but take smaller bites to get there - Rome wasn't built in a day!

    Average Interview

I applied online. I interviewed at Maryland SECU (Linthicum, MD).

Video interview- just read questions on the screen and press record when ready to answer Live video interview- basic interview questions with recruiter Panel interview- 3 managers ask questions related to position and past experiences. Not as intense as I expected.

    Interview Questions

    • Describe a time when you used your fact finding skills to solve a problem.   Answer Question

Research salary of job and try to incorporate past salary in desired salary before the live interview with the recruiter. Not much room for negotiation though.
